Thomas Crouch reported that a level of 4.7 feet (4700 CFS) on the Centerton gage made for a fast trip from Martinsville to Spencer. With lots of stops and little paddling, he made it from Martinsville to Paragon in about 6 hours.
He further reported that at a level of 3.5 feet (3200 CFS) many chutes and riffles are washed out, making for a swift and easy float. |

He said he scraped bottom less than 5 times with a loaded down kayak, and he never had to portage. Furthermore, he did the trip from Martinsville to Spencer in a total of 13 hours and 15 minutes. |
