Report for Monroe Reservoir
Saturday, June 26 to Sunday, June 27, 1999
This weekend we put in and took out at Crooked Creek S.R.A., and we canoed and kayaked throughout the Middle Fork of Salt Creek in Monroe Reservoir. It was a rather dreary weekend, with a wicked thunderstorm, and a couple of people ended up with wet gear. We did have a lovely campsite, though, in bordering Hoosier National Forest. Despite the weather, we all had a great time paddling in this less populated area.
