Abraham Lincoln would
say, "Here I grew up," to describe the rolling hills and
shady forest of what is now Lincoln State Park. The Lincoln story
is told in grand style drama in our 1,500 seat, covered outdoor
amphitheatre each summer. Lincoln is a must for school groups who
can combine history with the outdoors for an outstanding educational
experience.
The adjacent Lincoln
Boyhood National Memorial features a working pioneer farm, the Lincoln
cabin site, the grave site of Abraham Lincoln's mother, and the
historic Trail of Twelve Stones.
An
entrance fee will be charged at this park. Click for information
